I have a DUNS number, will I still need a Unique Entity ID (UEI)?
Yes. However you do not need to do anything more than keep your SAM.gov registration up to date. As you go through the renewal process the UEI will be assigned.
Where do I apply for the Unique Entity ID (UEI)?
When registering in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) the process will include the request and SAM.gov will assign the number.
